Ensuite, c'était le long vol de retour au Canada. After seven hours on the plane, we arrived in Montréal where I spent almost another hour: waiting in the passport line, waiting at the baggage carousel and then having all my stuff thoroughly searched...the customs officer suspiciously sniffed the small ziplock baggie of white powder that I had stuffed in a corner of my backpack, but it clearly smells like laundry detergent, so he let me off the hook there, but he did confiscate my chorizo and I had to pay duty on the liquid souvenirs.
Finalement, j'ai monté à bord de l'avion vers Fredericton et deux heures plus tard je suis rentrée chez moi. :-) :-( It was great to not see rain when I arrived; apparently the last few days have not been the best weather here.
