My train to Valencia (BAH-LEHN-THEE-AH) left at 11 am, so that didn't leave me much time to do any last-minute sight-seeing in Barcelona, so I just had a leisurely breakfast before taking the metro to the train station.
Upon check-in for the train ride, we were given complementary headsets - we could listen to two different music channels (one traditional Catalan music and the other more modern Spanish and international music). Et après une demie heure de voyager, un film a commencé - La Joven Jane Austin (Becoming Jane is the original English title).
J'ai rencontré deux jeunes hommes de la Nouvelle-Orléans dans le train. Nous avons parlé de nos expériences en France et en Espagne. One of the guys had just graduated from LSU and was on a two-month holiday, while his friend was in Europe for only two weeks before heading home for his last year of studies.
When I arrived in Valencia, I called Wayne from the station before taking the train to Puçol and he was able to meet me there when I arrived. The evening was spent relaxing.
