Cannes | Voyage de l'Espagne vers la France
Today, we got up early, packed up the car and the five of us drove to Cannes. It was a long, hot drive - nine hours and up to 43 degrees outside. Luckily, we were in an air conditioned car with a GPS system.
Nous avons arreté deux fois pour faire le plein, visiter les toilettes et manger. Pendant le voyage, les passagers ont regardé deux films : Oceans 11 et ensuite Oceans 12. I'd say that they got their fix of Brad and George. ;-)

When we got to the hotel in Cannes, it was precarious trying to park the Volvo station wagon in the teeny, tiny parking spot in the underground garage! It took considerable manoeuvring to even get the car in the garage as there isn't much room to turn in the corners. If it was me, we'd probably still be trying to make it around the tight corners, but with Stacey directing and Wayne inching forward, we finally got parked.
Après avoir « check in », nous avons marché au centreville pour chercher un restaurant. Finalement, nous avons choisi L'Assiette Provençale et la nourriture a été fantastique!!
After supper, we went for a walk on the beach - the breeze was nice. Then we headed back to the hotel.
