Usually; when you hear of someone heading south, you think of warm weather and sunny skies...well, I guess it doesn't work that way around here.

Il a plu beaucoup à Strasbourg hier et on m'a dit qu'il ne pleut jamais deux jours consécutifs...surprise, il pleut aujourd'hui et plus fort qu'hier!!

I took the train south from Alsace to Franche-Comté.  I didn' get caught in one downpour...more like two or three.  ;-(

I visited the citadelle; but due to the overcast skies, the view wasn't great.
 
Sunset taken from the window of my room...hopefully that means clear skies tomorrow ;-)
